Okay, so although I have solutions for you. It is still an overall interesting task for us kinky haired sisters. I’ve only had my hair cornrowed once in Budapest. There is a facebook group of women who can braid, weave, make wigs, etc. Once you join the group you just have to message the entire group what you want and then the ladies who can do it will tag themselves or DM you. It seems as if you go to their home or they can come to you in some instances. There is the Afro Beauty Center that is a shop but I’ve heard mixed reviews. Like you have to be specific with the styling that you want, and pricing seemed to change a bit depending on the length of hair, thickness, etc. There is Premium Locks and Totally Smitten who are also wig makers who I found on instagram. I wish there was an easier way to navigate this hair situation, but it seems to be a work in progress. I suggest you stock up on your favorite products. Or spend the money importing them. Trial and error on your hair is never fun, but start with something simple and let me know how it goes.
